When the Star Wars Battlefront beta fell into the hands of eager players, the heat of battle was a striking contrast to the freezing landscapes of Hoth. Ever since the planet was first shown in the original film trilogy, Hoth’s barren landscapes and the secluded Echo Base has been truly iconic and unmistakably Star Wars.
DICE's spectacular shooter is finally upon us
After spending almost eight hours with the final game, it’s clear that Star Wars Battlefront is reaping the benefits of developer DICE, veteran multiplayer designers and creators of the Battlefield series.
Star Wars Battlefront sits in a unique niche in the current FPS landscape. The controls are simple and streamlined, making the game accessible to players of varying experience levels.
But its deep character progression, sprawling mode selection, and tight gunplay will satisfy the veterans, too. Thanks to the expanded arsenal in the final game, the combat is far, far richer than last month’s (excellent) multiplayer beta.
NEW STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS PREVIEW SPOTLIGHTS THE DARK SIDE'S RETURN
With Thanksgiving here, Lucasfilm have released a new Star Wars: The Force Awakens preview.
The minute-long TV spot, called "All the Way", opens with the iconic Imperial March and gives fans several new moments to salivate over, including more of the First Order assembling and Han Solo and Chewbacca side-by-side in battle. There's also what sounds like a conversation between Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and the still unseen Supreme Commander Snoke (Andy Serkis), while the second half features more dialogue from someone offscreen, likely Maz Kanata (Lupita Nyong'o).

I’d like to talk to you about some cool features of Stories: The Path of Destinies, namely treasures and magic swords.
In case you accidentally missed our previous post, Stories: The Path of Destinies is an action-RPG, an enchanted storybook filled with madcap fantasy tales, each told by a zippy narrator attuned to the player’s choices and actions. You take the role of Reynardo the fox in the decisive moments before the final battle between the army of an Emperor gone mad and the Rebellion. It’s not looking good for the rebels, and only Reynardo can turn the tide… if he makes the right choices.
